Office Location: Huntington, PA
Description: We are currently seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Land Development Team in our Huntingdon, PA office experienced in land development design, storm water design, and E&S design to assist us in our growing business. This position requires 3 + years of experience in civil design and project management of land development activities: including design of grading, storm water management, soil erosion and sediment control, public and private roadways, storm drainage and water & sewer design.
Duties will include:
Assist in marketing efforts including leading private sector business development to expand beyond our existing client base.
Plan, organize and manage multiple projects
Coordinate projects with clients, review agencies, contractors and other outside consultants
Prepare reports, plans and specifications for major projects
Design and oversee the production of project drawings
Prepare Cost Estimates
Liaise with other staff, project teams, stakeholders and assist in maintaining client relationships.
Lead and oversee all project responsibilities including but not limited to:
1. Verify design and planning details for conformance with codes, manuals and design considerations
2. Supervise and observe the design and ongoing progress of projects
3. Coordinate project budget and scheduling.
4. Key Skills needed to apply for the Project Manager Role
Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D techniques and principles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good understanding and working knowledge of all plans, reports, studies, etc. required for land development projects
Ability to write proposals and project budgets
Technically proficient in all aspects of land development design
Ability to work on several projects simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
3 +years of site development experience
Additional Certifications or Skills: ·
B.S. in Civil Engineering, Surveying or Landscape Architecture

Office Location: Huntington, PA
Description: We are currently seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team in our Huntingdon, PA office. This position requires 3 + years of experience in structural engineering design.
Duties will include:
Structural design of concrete, masonry, steel, wood, and cold-formed steel construction. Typical components to design include foundations, columns, beams, joists and trusses. Typical components of lateral force resisting systems to design include shear diaphragms, chords, drag struts, shear walls and moment/braced frames.
Calculating appropriate design gravity and lateral forces based on ASCE 7.
Drafting of construction documents to include structural plans, sections, elevations and details.
Site investigation of existing structural members including but not limited to buildings, bridges and framing including steel, concrete, masonry, wood, bridges, concrete slabs, and various other structures.
Writing and/or checking assessment reports from structural investigations to identify deficiencies and areas requiring additional support for renovations or changes in loading, while adhering to client formatting guidelines.
Working with project teams in all aspects of projects; project set-up, drafting, design, quality review and quality assurance, project coordination/organization, etc.
Preparing and designing improvement plans for a wide range of projects.
Preparing and modification of construction documents, reports, specifications and designs for projects.
Analyzing maps, reports, drawings, as-builts, test results, Geotech reports and surveys for design projects.
Assisting with post-design construction support services to include responses to RFIs, submittal reviews, as-built preparation and field observations.
Working alongside office staff and management to successfully complete projects within the established budgets and deadlines.
Assist the management with all technical deliverables including plans, specifications, calculations and reports.
Ensure the quality standards of CES Engineering, LLC are upheld as outlined and maintained by the Manager.
Maintain excellent customer satisfaction levels at all times by timely addressing client concerns.
Cooperate, participate, and encourage the participation of others in corporate and outside professional development programs.
Required Skills / Abilities:
Strong knowledge of Structural/Civil Engineering principles and techniques with reference to construction materials, methods, and procedures.
Strong knowledge of and experience using Drafting/Design Software (AutoCAD, Revit, RAM and additional Autodesk and structural Programs).
A knowledge of BIM technology and the related Autodesk tools for implementation.
Education and/or Experience Preferred (Other Resumes will be reviewed and considered): ·
Bachelor’s degree (B.S., or B.A.) in Civil/Structural Engineering.
3-5 years minimum structural engineering design experience in the private and public sectors.
